Yes, he knows...
All of his big birds were build in a very small workshop.
But this year, he is moving in a new and big house with a biiiig workshop.
I figure he will build from now on, just very small birds...

As vrea sa il vopsesc in culorile aeroclubului dar nu am gasit nicaeri documentatie completa ...(vedere in epura cu metoda de vopsire)

He built a control-line AN2 and he want to paint it like yours, in the "Aeroclubul Romaniei" paintings.
He try to find a suitable painting documentation, accurate enough for scale contest.
He will not find!

In the last few months I found a lot of additional material about the "Aeroclubul Romania"-airplane. Also some drawings. But the problem is, that every drawing and every picture is in some details different.

Here in Germany we say, that the drawings for Scale-contests must be very similar to the built model - not to the original... :lol: :D

Well, Philipp is the happy pilot of an exquisit AN2 model!
He phoned me straight from the flying field to share the joy of the first flight. A very pleasant and rewarding maiden flight, as I understand!
Congratulation again, Philipp!

Attached a picture of the day. I was alone on the airfield and prepared for 2 hours the model. I checked all flaps and made several test-runs on the ground. The sound of the four-blade-prop is incredible. Very deep and noisy.

Unfortunately I have no flying- or other action-pictures. But I can tell you that the maiden flight was very successful and the "Antonov" has perfect flying characteristics. It flies very dynamic and powerful, but not very fast. With the Torcman-motor the model climbs with 40°. Starting with flaps on 5° the model takes off after 15 m. Landing with full flaps (10°) is very easy and stable. But the model needs 15% motor-power not to stop in the air.

I will try to go fly again on Sunday. And after that day I´m sure to have some action-pictures.

Yesterday I was on the airfield again and made two more flights. I’m really satisfied. The model could be flown very realistic. Using the flaps is like a second power-stick. Some of the club-friends were also at the airfield and they all were absolute happy about that new model. Unfortunately there was nobody with a photo.. :lol: http://www.rhcforum....tyle_emoticons/default/sad.gif

After the first flight I checked the data’s with the JETI-program-box: The motor took at the highest point 45,5 A and turned the prop with 5.250 U/min. The maximum flight-time is 7.30 min. The controller (JETI Spin 99) reached a temperature of 34°. Battery is a LiPo-pack 8s1p with 3.300 mAh.

in primul rand vreau sa salut toata lumea de pe forum.
E prima data cand ma lovesc de acest hobby.
Proiectul meu ar consta in realizarea unei machete statice de AN2, deci partilelegate de motor, rc sunt excluse .
Mi-a placut mult modelul prezentat mai sus si as vrea daca se poate sa ma ajutati cu niste scheme, masuratori, insa nu la scara celui de sus....sa zicem sa aiba maxim 100cm deoarece vreau sa-l fac cadou cuiva care a pilotat toata viata acest model.Chiar si eu sunt familiarizat cu AN2-ul am si zburat cu el.
Va multumesc pentru intelegere si sper sa colaboram.

Toata stima pentru neamtul phillip daca nu ma insel.

Planurile le gasesti in MODELISM nr. 4 din 1984.De ce nu incerci o macheta de plastic ,chiar astazi am fost la un magzin de profil si am vazut asa ceva.Daca vrei te pot ajuta cu planurile din MODELISM.

Hi friends,

beacause in the lest two months I finished building my house and moved into it, I was not on the airfield since the day where I made the maiden fliugth with the AN-2.

But this Saturday I´ll go and taking the AN-2 with me. I hope to get some flying picures then.
